Simple things

I came home from the allotment this evening and as I parked my car on the drive I just sat there looking for a while. Within a couple of feet of me were a sparrow in a tree, a red admiral and a bee in the flowers and I just couldn't decide which was more beautiful.

I saw a sparrow yesterday on my patio and had a watch of him bouncing about.

The sad thing is that there aren't as many sparrows as there used to be. (link here)

You barely see a sparrow in London these days, and they used to be a symbol of the place. Here in Ramsgate there are millions of the little fellers, they even seem to have developed a hummingbird style technique of hovering over the hedges to collect insects.

Most likely what the little fella was up to. Trying to decide which one was 'starter' and which would be 'main course'.
