back at work

I managed to plant some Gladioli on Thursday afternoon, the only trouble is I am not sure where. I dug a nice little patch for them, but when I opened the bag, I really had to struggle and they pinged all over the garden so I am not sure how many ended up planted where I wanted and where the others went. But I don't like a garden too neat and uniform.

I had to go away for the weekend but went up the allotment this morning before the rain started again, it's amazing how good the rain has been for the weeds. I know I mustn't grumble.

May Blossom

Is it just me, have I missed the smell of May Blossom this year. Maybe I am not going out enough with all of this wind and rain

How am I supposed to get the weeding done?? Who said it doesn't rain in Thanet.
