I have just heard that this year is the 40th anniversary of the creation of Radio 1, 2, 3 & 4. this is really frightening, I don't feel old but I remember the old Home Service, the Light Programme and the Third. Must be time I went to bed before the shipping forecast comes on - without Finisterre!

Roses

I am not particularly fond of roses but this one is the only plant making a real impression in my garden at the moment.
And the smell as I walk past it to the greenhouse is a treat

A miracle

New computer - and initial email address invalid - but with the help of support at blogger I have at last reclaimed my account.
Can't think of anything to say but at least I am able when I do have something.
